Requesting an Appointment

To request an appointment please click here and complete our Rapid Health Triage questionnaire, this service is open between 8 am and 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday.

If you do not have an email address, or you do not have internet access (via smartphone, tablet or PC), then please phone or visit reception Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm and our reception team will be able to support you completing the questionnaire.

The same-day urgent triage list is managed by the duty team (which is made up of several clinicians). There is no choice with who you speak to for an emergency appointment, as this depends on who is allocated duty that day.

Routine face-to-face / telephone appointments can be booked up to 28 days ahead.

The majority of our appointments are ten minutes in duration. We ask that you try to observe the “One Problem per Appointment” ethos. We strive to deal with each medical problem to the highest standard, which is difficult if we are asked to deal with multiple problems in one appointment slot.

If you arrive more than 5 minutes late for your face-to-face appointment, you may be required to rebook your appointment.

Saturday - 9am to 5 pm

How do you book the appointments?

Please ring us on 0161344 0803 and let our friendly reception team know you need an evening or weekend appointment. They will help you arrange this

Home visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
